adam and eve deciding to forget in order to...

I’ve been told there once must have been a time when the predecessors of our species were closer to 0, before they deviated and mutated into a far enough 1. 0 - when the species were cold, in unity with god (the creator of everything), all knowing without ever having learned. But then, as the story goes, two heroes decided to sacrifice all of their familiar comforts in god’s garden, supposedly against his orders, in exchange for a vision and a logic divided by two, by biting into the fruits from the tree of causality. This set off the initial spark of loosh, which moves congruently with entropy’s arrow of time, spawning will and perception, a split from 0 to 1, allowing for everything that is to be made, including the creatures we know ourselves as - humans.

As the two heroes started to see everything they once knew as whole become diluted with relational opposites, they were tormented by their position between the contradictions. Apparently they rushed to hide their bodies from one another, recognizing the differences in their forms, not understanding whether they were good or bad, clean or soiled.

They were only children, and yet they unlocked the complicated ability and seeming necessity of making decisions.

As real as the division felt, and for many of us still does, we remained in this world designed by the creator of everything, with hints of its fundamental unity for us to peek into within it if we know how to look. Not long after the bites into the fruit from the tree of causality, some people were able to easily recover the walk from 1 to 0, alongside entropy, to reach what might have been a perceivable capacity of loosh, or at least the greatest aggregations of it thus far. Some of them tried to write and disseminate books and teachings about the way, and while some receivers are able to understand the wisdom in theory, even a life of dedication to learning it in practice doesn’t guarantee an arrival. This may be because a great majority of the population hadn't and still hasn't realized its loosh in order to depart from the divided logic and vision, though the possibility is always there.

Many rationalistic and schismic theories generally portray loosh to be following an increasing trend, though not always sequentially as reversals and diversions occur. Some even propose that when the entire population reaches the maximum capacity of loosh, at the same time as when entropy will have exhausted all of the possible heat transfers, the universe will die. Perhaps this could mean a return to the god’s garden, where if our descendants still have the energy to make decisions, they may choose to take a bite of a fruit from the tree of life this time.

A book I once read put loosh on a scale of 0 to 1000, which the author deemed could be measured, scientifically, in individuals, populations, and objects imbued with human consciousness. According to his scale, the two heroes started the timeline at 0. The average loosh of our planet today is slowly rising above 200, a value which the author correlates with more truthful, conscious and loving ways of being. While limited by his biases, and his fixation on the categorization of arbitrarily specific units, there’s an undeniable correlation between his graphs of the trajectory of loosh and those of entropy created by interpreters attempting to track the start and end the world as we know.

The above graphs, while impressive and in some ways agreeable, ignore the fundamental reality that loosh does not simply climb in a straight line from 0 to 1000 in its frequency (or from 1 to 0 in its proximity to god). The graphs forget to represent an inherent property of loosh, I think, - the beloved possibility of modification that the two heroes posed to the design of the creator of everything. Knowingly or not, when the two heroes gave up their positions in god’s unifying cradle, they initiated the potential for the development of new forces. The reversals, diversions and fractionalizations must be emphasized, and the actuality of infinity between the two values, since they make the trajectory far more dynamic. Placing an end on the path creates a vision of a super-faulty conclusion that is said to be near. Some day it might be approached, despite the probabilistic unlikelihood of this event, but who’s to say that at that moment people wouldn't want to just turn back around a few steps.

Though causing what may be perceived as stupidity and shortcomings in a species, when the two heroes bit into the fruits, they forgot so that we might learn by our own accord. God and gods tend to be subscribed single cyclical tasks: making sure that the planets continue to complete full rotations, that the sun burns, the the wind blows, that gravity pushes down upon earth, that water rises and falls with the moon, and so on. But humans, on the other hand, have the possibility to make choices, even if only up until they find the thing that reunites them with god and decide to commit the rest of their life to walking the rising spiral, even if the creator’s designs appear to be so strict that it seems like people do not have agency in loosening restrictions. This is not the full truth, and sometimes is merely the result of a hijacking by those who have learned this and use it to their advantage by manipulating individuals.

I was raised in a religion which believed that acquisition of more loosh, within a single person, can grant one the opportunity to live more, hmm, freely, in tune. Love and acceptance comes more easily, followed by unconditionality, making varying degrees of circumstances more livable, along with an ability to grant certain generosities to oneself and to others. At even greater quantities of loosh, the human mind has even more agency over what might have seemed like definite functions in the body, in the planet, in “reality”. There is no shortage of accounts and witnesses of levitation, telepathic communication, improvement and disappearances of ailments and illnesses, alterations of genes, and other physical bends and manipulations done solely with the will of loosh. And while invigorated by the belief in such capabilities, I was taught, piously, from a very young age that the majority of my experienced reality is the making of my own mind - a truly liberating, and personally agreeable notion until forced to give devotion to an arbitrary assignment of things as positive or negative from a source outside of myself.

Eventually, I grew out of the religion, though I routinely revisit its practices and perspectives that I find helpful in my pursuit of magic. I kept the belief in manifestation: the consistent and deliberate attention given to a subject for it to become more apparent in reality, nearly in accordance with one’s imagined desire, improved with more exercise and more loosh. I’ve been told that wizards master such abilities to be repeatedly accomplished even over great distances, strengthened by the exploration of quantum entanglement and further enlivened by the disproof of local realism.

I have been coming to the idea that an increase in people’s collective loosh could perhaps unlock a wider and multi-willed manifestation, like a hyperstition. Somehow, in this world made of both order and chaos, as people’s senses become heightened and more receptive through a simultaneous development of new forms of technology, though not linearly in time, a synchronicity may occur and be recognized. Multiple wills arrive at the same point through different journeys, a shared dream, while still bearing witness to the creator’s design, prophetic evidence is made and shared, the desired content manifests, an affirmation of strength, and loosh maybe starts to reshape the world, in spite of the creator of everything's laws. Or rather, alongside it, as an inherent feature at the very source.

I wonder, how much can humans really combat or counter the creator’s work, as people progress from observing the design, to replicating it, and to then somehow igniting it. Perhaps the thing that happens over time is that these possible interactions with the creator’s work are reiterated in more apparent, precise and intentional forms to give people a clearer grasp of the potential they hold.

Accidents and artists have given estimates to the size of the field of the unknown, the endless amount of decimal compositions between void and everything that loosh can cover, despite the limitation of our genetic senses to be able to perceive what lies in this expanse. Programmers have created systems that, whether consciously or not, replicate the creator's design, revealing some of its structures in ways people can process, built upon absence and presence, represented by 0 or 1, a solid or a broken line. This same source code seems to be indefinitely repeated throughout every permutation and rearrangement of explicable functions, I think as a result of that infinity that exists between 0 and 1.

I feel at ease, temporarily confident in the lasting presence of chaos. We may not be sensitive enough to perceive the entirety of the vastness that lies between the nothingness (0) and the everything (1), though we become more and more aware that it is there with the aid of tools we've discovered and created that repeatedly confirm it's active. But the question I still have is how did the bite into the apple from the tree of causality result in a deployment of 1 from zero. What did it feel like in that very moment? Is it a deficiency in my understanding or a fallacy in the myth we’ve been told that obscures the carving of the road to 1 - which made everything possible to be made, even creation itself, in the limitlessness of its margin from zero.
